La ruta recibe este nombre porque encontraremos un ejemplar de eucalipto de notables dimensiones y que supera la edad de cien a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Distancia<\/strong>: 4,45 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duraci\u00f3n<\/strong>: 1h 40m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ni\u00f1os<\/strong>: No<\/li>\n<li><strong>Se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n<\/strong>: Regular<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ruta circular<\/strong>: Si<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dificultad<\/strong>: Dif\u00edcil.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coordenadas para iniciar la ruta<\/strong>: 42.402506,-7.5998128,836<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desde el Mirador de Boqueiri\u00f1o a unha altura de 600 m sobre el Sil, veremos el magn\u00edfico Monasteiro de Santa Cristina al otro lado del ca\u00f1\u00f3n, en Ourense. Seguiremos la caminata por la pista de tierra medio kil\u00f3metro hasta el llamado Colado del Santo. Desde esta peque\u00f1a llanura parte a la derecha el camino del Eucalipto del M\u00e9dico, que comienza con un ligero descenso que va en aumento conforme caminamos. Los primeros 400 m son de monte bajo, pero luego veremos una zona de alcornoques y madro\u00f1os hasta llegar al o lugar llamado O Santo, donde en tiempos se cultivaron vi\u00f1as pero que hoy es un robledal<\/p>\n<p>Un poco m\u00e1s abajo sale el camino que lleva al lugar de Nogueira da Laxa, llena de vi\u00f1edos, y tambi\u00e9n las vi\u00f1as de O Santo siguiendo direcci\u00f3n a Souto Vello. Tambi\u00e9n encontraremos manatiales en una zona dedicada a prader\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Desde este punto la ruta pasa a ser un sendero con un descenso acusado hasta que un centenar de metros m\u00e1s lejos llegamos a ver el eucalipto m\u00e1s longevo y de tama\u00f1o espectacular que \u00edbamos buscando.
